Nissan Connect 1 V9 map Europe

Steps:
1) Change the CID of your SD (or microSD) card to the one mentioned in the cid.txt file;
2) Copy the cryptnav directory and prod_info.txt file to the root of your SD (or microSD) card;
3) Go to your car and insert the SD (or microSD) card.

Nissan Connect 1 systems have a SD slot at the bottom right :

How to change the CID number on a SD or microSD card (must be CID editable !) :

1. Format the SD card or microSD card in FAT32 format.
2. Make a linux Ubuntu USB Live stick (use "rufus" for example).
3. Copy the "mmc" or "mmc64" binary to another USB stick.
4. Start a live session from the Ubuntu USB stick : choose "Try Ubuntu" (without install)
5. Insert your SD or microSD card into the SD card slot.
6. Open a "Terminal"
7. Now you have to give yourself admin rights by entering : sudo su -
8. Test whether the SD card slot/card reader is compatible (it must be a PCI reader and not a USB reader).
To do this, type the df command (or lsblk). You will now see devices connected to the system.
Very important : you must be able to see an entry "/dev/mmcblk*", if you see only one entry with "/dev/sd*", you know that this cardreader is not compatible.
9. Now you have to test if the SD or microSD card is compatible. To do this type in the following command :
ls -l /sys/block | grep mmc
If there's a line with the entry "mmc0: 0001", the SD or microSD card is potentially CID editable.
However, if you have an entry with eg. "mmc0: 59b4", you can stop. Your card is not CID editable if it's not "0001".
10. Now connect the second USB stick with the "mmc*" binary and copy the file to /tmp : cp mmc* /tmp/
11. Grant execute permissions to /tmp/mmc : chmod +x /tmp/mmc (or chmod +x /tmp/mmc64)
12. Now flash the CID of the SD or microSD card :
cd /tmp
./mmc prog cid /dev/mmcblk0 5d5342303030384712d06f1236011400 (your command may differ if you use different mmc version, consult usage instructions)

Note : this CID number is only for "Nissan Connect 1 v9" EU map.
If everything went well, the terminal should spit out this issue: Success! Remove and reinsert SD card to check new CID.
Sometimes there are minor errors without impact.

13. Remove the card and insert it again, then check if the CID was really flashed.
cat /sys/block/mmcblk0/device/cid
The terminal should show you the CID that you flashed in step 12. The last two digits can be different, eg. .... c010101 if this is the case, it is not bad.

"mmc" and "mmc64" command files can be found on the internet or in other navi forums (vw, opel).

Laptop must have pci-e card reader, otherwise it will not work. SD card must allow modification of CID.
